How to use

Floors are usually tiled with 12×12 in or 12×24 in tiles. Enter your floor area and the tile size — the calculator expands each tile by the grout width and adds your waste margin.

FAQ

What waste percent is normal for floors?

About 10% for a simple rectangular floor; add more for diagonal layouts or lots of cuts around doorways.

Should I buy extra tiles?

Yes — keep a few spare boxes in case a tile cracks later, since dye lots can differ between batches.
